Excluding the battery and including VAT: Deluxe (Cao cấp) VND 19,490,000, Special (Đặc biệt) VND 19,690,000, Sport (Thể thao) VND 19,890,000. With a purchased battery the total is about VND 28.49–28.89 million. Registration, number plate and insurance are extra.
Battery rental costs a VND 2,000,000 deposit plus VND 250,000 per month, or VND 1,500,000 for a 6-month pack with one extra month free. Buying the battery with the scooter costs VND 9,000,000 with no monthly fee — roughly 36 months of rental, so buying usually pays off if you keep the scooter for more than three years.
The ICON e: has a 1.5 kW motor and a 49 km/h top speed, so it is classed as an electric moped. Riders aged 16 and over can ride a moped without a driving licence in Vietnam, but the scooter must still be registered and carry a number plate.
Up to about 71 km per full charge. The removable 48V – 30.6Ah lithium-ion battery is IP67 water-resistant and charges from a normal household socket: about 7.5–8 hours for a full charge, or about 3.5 hours from 30% to 70%.
